Roman Way Estate CIC was established in 2008 by residents who felt they wanted to have more input into their local area and have more involvement and say. Following on from this, residents were offered the chance to vote on whether they wanted Roman Way Estate to take over the day-to-day management of properties on behalf of Birmingham City Council. Residents voted in favour of Roman Way Estate managing the estate. The estate manages over 200 properties on behalf of Birmingham City Council. In 2016, Roman Way Estate held a ballot with 92% of voters saying ‘YES’ to the TMO.

Nick Reynolds
Chair and Company Secretary
I have lived on the estate FOR over 20 years so I obviously feel it is a great place to live. I have been involved with the TMO since we were a residents group and am pleased with how the estate is now managed.
Currently I also Chair the National Federation of Tenant Management Organisations (NFTMO).
I would encourage fellow tenants to get involved in the TMO so we can continue making a difference.
Sally Weston
Finance Officer
I've lived on the estate for over 20 years. I initially became involved with the original residents group before the woods were ripped out to make way for the Barberry and Oleaster buildings and prior to the first brick being laid for the QEHB. Parking in the area was one of our prime concerns.
When the Roman Way Estate CIC was born, I became a board member and today I remain committed to supporting our staff and fellow board members in making our 'island estate' a place where we want to live in our forever home.
Hilary Pilsbury
Director
I have lived on the estate for over 20 years and have always felt the estate is a lovely, safe area.
I joined the board as I believe tenants should have a say in how the estate is managed.
I am currently the lead for the repairs and voids sub group.
